About AHEPA NSW
Welcome to The Order of AHEPA NSW Inc: Fostering Australian and Greek Relations!
We are thrilled to introduce you to AHEPA (Australian Hellenic Educational Progressive Association), a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering Australian and Greek relations. Our mission is to actively promote awareness of the rich Hellenic culture and language through a wide range of cultural, educational, charitable, and social events and activities.
As a part of the global AHEPA network, which includes chapters in the United States, Canada, Greece, Cyprus, Australia, and New Zealand, AHEPA NSW is proud to be a vital branch of the largest Hellenic Association in the world. Visionary Greek Americans who wished to shield Hellenes from prejudice and discrimination founded AHEPA, which has a history dating back to 1922.
In May 1934, AHEPA found its roots in Werris Creek, NSW, and has since grown to become a thriving organisation dedicated to nurturing the bonds between the Australian and Greek communities. Through our diverse range of initiatives, we strive to create meaningful connections, celebrate cultural heritage, and support mutual understanding between these two vibrant cultures.
At AHEPA NSW, we value the contributions of individuals like you who are passionate about strengthening Australian and Greek relations. Whether you’re interested in participating in our cultural events, engaging in educational programs, supporting charitable initiatives, or joining our vibrant social activities, we warmly welcome your involvement.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us through the provided contact information. Our dedicated team is eager to answer any questions, provide further information, and assist you in any way possible. We greatly appreciate your interest and look forwards to partnering with you on this enriching journey.
